I am SO EXCITED to reveal to you the cover to my second book of the MYTHOLOGY series... Please also enjoy the special TEASERS, SALE, and DOUBLE GIVEAWAY at the end of this post!
Are you ready?
Wait. First, I have to tell you how much it means to me that so many of you have told me how excited you are for the second book of the series. I love writing, and I appreciate each and every thing that people have done to demonstrate their love for my book and characters. I am honored and inspired by everything you do to support me. I'm also grateful to Dani Morales at CrazyGirlTours for arranging the cover reveal tour and all of the bloggers who signed up to help me spread the cover love this week. I couldn't do this without you!
Second, I also need to share that Micah has always been my writing muse for this series. I knew that I had to write book two of the series largely from his point of view, though Hope is as integral as ever and also speaks in the story from her POV. But book two is largely Micah's story, and that's why he deserves the cover this time.
And so, I introduce you to Micah on the cover to MYTHOLOGY: THE WICKED!
Cover by B Design (the amazing work of Allie Brennan)
Original images by Shannon Eberhard/James Stamos
(wonderful custom work by wonderful people)
COMING THIS SEPTEMBER
MYTHOLOGY: THE WICKED
A demon with a pure heart, Micah Condie lives his life by a code of ethics, but breaking that code may be the only way for him to survive. A supernatural entity in her own right, Hope Gentry would do anything in her power to protect her loved ones, but she may be the one who puts them in peril.
When the Demon Impiorum challenges the laws that keep guardians and demons in balance, ancient enforcers of justice intervene. Micah, Hope, and their mentor Jonathan become entangled in a conspiracy that will test even the deepest love and trust.
Someone will commit an act of betrayal. Someone will forever abandon a loved one.
Someone will enter THE WICKED.
ADD IT ON GOODREADS.
(Please do - Micah will love you forever!)
In book two, you will see Micah and Hope take things to a whole new level... Don't worry, this is still YA! (but we love YA sizzle)

Light of the Moon
Stars. Fire. Blood. Magic.
One night long ago, a constellation disappeared and fell from the sky in the form of a boy.
Secrets are being kept in the sleepy town of Lakewood Hollow, Colorado. Nothing but pools of blood and dripping words are left where bodies once were, and no one but Calum Wade seems to be worried. Life unfolds in shades of red for Calum, until a mysterious girl named Kate Black enrolls at his school and everything changes. Suddenly a dangerous world of dream demons, elemental enchanters, and blood witches unfurls before Calum. He learns that the stars have forever held his destiny, and that the constellations above are much more than what they seem. As Kate and Calum sink deep into a paranormal war, they realize that an ancient prophecy might hold the answers they seek. But life is not so easy for Calum, and he can feel his heart beat faster whenever Kate is close. Worse, Kate's blood holds a dark secret even more dangerous than the war between the demons and enchanters. Soon the two find that there are worse things than loving someone you shouldn't. For Calum and Kate, even love and the fiery power of stars may not be enough to break a curse as dark as the blood that binds their destiny.
A romantic story of true love and dark curses, LIGHT OF THE MOON will leave you breathless.

I shake my head. “No. Every time. Every fucking time he brings her up. I thought he wouldn’t in front of you, but he did.”
“He has his own pain,” she says softly. “It doesn’t excuse it, but he does. He feels guilty for what happened to you – that he couldn’t stop it.”
My mind reels for a second and I look down at her. “He told you that?”
She nods, letting her hand drop from my back and standing in front of me. I stop.
“You’ve never let him tell you.” She reaches up and cups my face. “He hurts, too, Aston. You both hurt. It’s not something that will go away, but you can’t let it rule your lives. If you let pain rule you you’ll get lost in it.”
“What if I’m already lost?”
“You’re not lost. You’re hiding, but you’re not lost. I won’t let you get lost.”
I let my hands come up and rest on her back, pulling her into me. “What if there’s no map?”
“Then I’ll get lost with you,” she whispers. “I won’t let you let them win, Aston. I won’t let you get sucked in by those demons. I won’t let that happen. I care too much.”
And she does. I can hear it in her voice.
She wraps her arms around my neck, and I hold her to me tighter, our foreheads resting against each other.
“I’ll try, Megs,” I promise. “I can’t say I won’t, but as long as you’re here, I think I’ll be okay.”
“And you’ll talk to your Gramps? Just once?”
“I’ll think about it. How about we just focus on stopping me from getting lost for a bit?”
“You just need a place to aim for, that’s all. You need a place to go to.”
“Go on then.” I smile. “Give me a place.”
“Okay.” She pauses for a second, closing her eyes and chewing her lip.
“I’m waiting…” I tease her.
Her blue eyes open, shocking me with their vitality. “Aim for the moon, because even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”
“I don’t need to aim for the sky. The only star I’ll ever need is standing right in front of me.” I brush my lips over hers. “Maybe the place I need to aim for is nowhere other than where I am right now.”
“Maybe I’d go with you wherever you ended up.”
“Maybe I’d never ask that of you.”
“Maybe you wouldn’t need to ask. Maybe you’ll never need to ask me for anything, because I’ll always be here.”

-About the Authors-
Bailey Ardisone is a collaboration between two sisters who were born and raised outside of Chicago, Illinois. They combined their creative forces to write the first book in their series, called Sweet Oblivion. Though the name Bailey Ardisone applies to both of them, for the sake of answering questions they will each take on one of the names to make things easier.
The older sister of the two in Bailey Ardisone, has always loved getting lost in books, movies, music, and art. Fantasy is her favorite genre. She gets her love of words from their grandmother who together used to write poems, short stories and even greeting cards. Her biggest goal would be to travel and explore the world. She loves going to the beach, enjoys football sundays, and spending time with friends and family.
The younger sister of the two in Bailey Ardisone, has always held a strong love for anything art related. Whether it be drawing, music, or constantly day-dreaming, her mind never stops imagining wonderful stories and possibilities. She finally got to put some of those ideas to use with her new found love of writing novels. Some other things she is forever obsessed with are Japanese Anime and Manga, animals, traveling, her home city of Chicago and anything in miniature form. One thing she can never get enough of is sleeping/taking naps and sour skittles.
-About Sweet Oblivion-
Sweet Oblivion received a MAKEOVER! We truly hope you enjoy the new cover art!
When two worlds collide, nightmares become reality. And some secrets...are best kept in Oblivion.
...Until there is hope.
Have you ever wanted to forget? Nariella Woodlinn has. Many times. Especially when her already frustrating life gets turned upside down by a mysterious boy who randomly shows up in her small town. And she can’t seem to understand anything about him, despite how much she tries.
Nari hates everything about her life, except for her best friend Rydan, but now that they’ve been separated during their senior year of high school, she has to learn to make new friends without him. When strange, unexplainable phenomena start becoming an every day part of her life, Nari struggles to come to grips with reality. And with love.
Naminé has responsibilities. Duties. It is her obligation to fulfill all that is asked of her by their King. But when a glimmer of hope is introduced to her by a prisoner she tends to, it means life or death for her and her people. She does all that she can to turn that hope into reality, and finally end the vicious war that has been ensuing since she was born. Even if that means keeping it secret from her King. Even if it means carrying out the biggest betrayal against the King ever seen during her time.
She has hope. She will fulfill her duty. She will not let her people down.
I suddenly felt anxious, excited even, at the prospect of laying eyes on Mycah again. On being enveloped in his woodsy scent. The way my soul felt complete and whole again only his presence alone could accomplish. ...Were we really just friends?
And then there he was.
As I took the last stair, his eyes found mine from the "Greeting Room" he quietly sat in, drinking from an antique teacup.
He watched me carefully as he slowly put the cup to his alluring lips and took a sip. My heart danced wildly in my chest with every step I took, drawing closer and closer.
I waved at him, not able to speak just yet.
“Morning, beautiful,” he whispered. His English accent made the words sound musical. Or maybe it was his silky voice that did it. Or it could have been the combination of the two, I really didn’t know. Either way, my stomach did a flip.
And then I thought, it must have been the way he was looking at me, not even trying to hide the desire that flooded his aqua eyes as soon as they locked onto mine.
The sun played with his eyes, bringing out the unique colors and making them more vivid. Even though he was lit up by the streaming sun that shone brightly through the large bay window, he never looked more dangerous.
And he never looked more sexy.
Well, that could be debatable.
I mean, if you wanted to count the time he was dripping wet and practically naked, well then, one really couldn’t say.
But this moment was definitely a top contender for first place.
He stood up, keeping perfect posture and foreign demeanor exquisitely intact, and came over to me.
“You alright?” he asked, lips pulling up in a side smile. I nodded, half hating the spell he always put me under, half totally loving it.
He reached out and slowly slid his hand into mine, intertwining our fingers together and pulling me toward the front door. He chuckled and slightly shook his head at the ground.

The Sweet Series, Book One
And now....for the second book in the Sweet Series, we present: Sweet Escape!
-About Sweet Escape-
Life will never be the same for Nariella Woodlinn. Just when she thought she had it all figured out, her world comes crumbling down around her - yet again. She has no idea who she is. She has no idea where she came from.
She once thought her biggest problems were ones brought on by the mysterious man she had refused to fall in love with...Mycah. But she quickly discovers none of that compares to what she is about to encounter next.
This time, it isn't because of who Mycah is.
This time, it's because of who she is.
Naminé risked everything to save her people. Her goal was to bring their only hope back to their Kingdom. As the war rages on, Naminé gets thrown right into the lion's den - the false King's chambers. Forced to do his bidding, can she prevent the downfall of the only hope she worked so hard to bring home?
...Can any of them Escape?
I lay mesmerized from the position on my back, staring up at the cloudless sky. It was as blue as a Robin’s egg. If not more blue. The sun shone extremely bright, but the rays did not scorch my skin. The air was comfortable. Very comfortable. It was the perfect temperature. Warm, without being too warm, and no humidity.
I did not move.
I was afraid to move in case this was all just a dream, and any slight stir would make it vanish, throwing me back into tormented reality. It must be a dream, right? Clearly, I had busted my head against the tree trunk and knocked myself out...And I was only imagining this while Zaylie, I was sure, was worried and trying to wake me up.
I could feel the grass beneath me. Soft, lush, exquisite. As if I lay against the perfect bed made just for me. I was Goldilocks and it was just right.
A colorful bird soared above me. But as it descended closer, obscuring my view of the sky, I realized it was not actually a bird at all. It was the strangest butterfly I had ever seen. Its wings were a rainbow of colors - and it was huge. Bird-like huge.
But I didn’t feel frightened or grossed out like I usually did by insects. This was different. It felt different here. The butterfly flapped its wings so gently and effortlessly. I numbly reached up while it landed weightlessly on my fingers.
The moment it touched me and started cleaning its antennae, even though I could barely feel it on me, I got the striking feeling that this was real. Very real. I quickly sat up, causing the vivid butterfly to take flight again, and gazed around the beauteous expanse encircling me.

I'm very happy to be part of Michele Miller's blog tour for her debut novel NEVER LET YOU FALL (check out the gorgeousness that is her cover above!) Michele was so kind as to let me interview her as part of the tour. Be sure to check out my review that follows as well as enter the tour-wide giveaway at the bottom of the post!
1. How long have you been writing, and what sorts of things have you written or tried to write before NLYF? This includes unfinished stories -- I have an entire drawer filled with mine :)
I love that you have a drawer! I began writing stories in the 7th grade. They were similar to what I knew back then which was pretty much Sweet Valley High type stories. In the 9th grade I did a bunch of poetry and I wrote on the yearbook staff in high school. I also journaled a lot. I have a few pieces of work started on my PC but for the most part Never Let You Fall was my first 'real' attempt at writing a full novel.
2. What is your personal favorite thing about Tyalbrook? Would you live there if you had the chance?
I love the old world style. I've always thought it would be so amazing to live back in simpler times and would totally like to live there. I'm not so sure about having demons and black magic around though.
3. (Hey, nothing wrong with having certain types of demons around) ;)
I found your characters to be very dynamic together. Skye seemed so troubled and almost volatile at times, Xander the obviously more centered but also vulnerable one. What sort of things do you think are necessary for chemistry between two characters in a story?
I think in most cases people who have true chemistry usually have just enough differences about their personalities that they can play off of one another. His weakness is her strength and vice versa. The saying Never Let You Fall can really relate to that feeling of how when you're lacking is something you need I will be there to pick you up. It's what makes two people a true cohesive unit and not just a couple.
4. Speaking of characters, if you could pick just one line/quote from your book that best represents Skye, what would it be? And one that best represents Xander?
Skye: "Are you safe?" Ultimately this question asked at the very beginning of the book is the one thing that Skye has been looking for all of her life. She is someone who wants to be safe, wants to feel safe and then wants to protect her safety and those she loves.
Xander: "Shhh,” he lifted his hand to cover my mouth. “I lost my parents Skye, not my life. You are my life.” Xander makes many many promises and declarations in NLYF but this truly speaks 100% to who he is and what he is about.
5. What was your favorite scene to write and why? Your least favorite?
My favorite scene was probably the one in the Wal-mart parking lot. Xander makes a confession to Skye that totally confuses her and then some sparks fly. It was fun to envision that going down.
The least favorite was anytime I had to make Xander be the jerk. I struggled with that. It isn’t in his nature to hurt Skye but he also knows the 'rules' and what must happen going forward.
6. (Ooh, yeah, I loved Xander from the get-go, and that was a little hard to watch.)
If you could go to dinner with one author who inspired you most, who would that person be?
If I'm going to go to dinner I want it to be with someone I like! I would love to sit with Amy Bartol and eat and chat about her series (The Premonition Series). I will be getting that wish later this month so I am stoked!
As for dead people- Jane Austen, CS Lewis even JRR Tolkien. Lewis and Tolkien because of their brilliant fantasy minds. Austen because so little is truly known about her life except that which the family has shared. I can't help but wonder if she was a hell raiser who wrote romance novels instead of the 'good little Jane' that her family seems to say she is.
7. What is the biggest piece of advice you can give to other writers?
Follow your heart and take your time. I think if you write what you love then it will show regardless of whether it is the current 'hot genre' or not. As for taking your time I mean this in regards to making sure what you are producing is quality. So many people just slap together a book and think they are going to be the next big thing. Chances are it's not going to happen. Stories like El James and Colleen Hoover's are 1 in a million. Even if you do everything "right" and have the perfect story, editing, cover, blog tours, marketing etc…there is still a bigger chance that you won't sell than you will. Have you seen how many books are released each day?
So, take your time. Do it right, love what you do and then put it out there. Not to make a bunch of money but do it because you HAVE to, because it is your life's desire to write. If you do it for that reason you will be happy regardless of what happens.
8. What's the one main message you wanted to portray with NLYF to readers?
I say it in my book blurb. That there is someone there who has always been there. Regardless of what is going on your life there is someone who loves you. It might be someone you don't even know. We are never alone in this world as much as we might think we are. Skye felt abandoned and unloved because you didn't know any better but Xander was always there, even if from afar.
9. (Spoiler alert...) NLYF ends with a pretty sharp cliffhanger, so I know that there is at least a second book on its way. There seems like a lot of story that can be told here. How many books do you envision in total?
Originally I wanted to do a trilogy but I must admit I keep finding myself thinking up new stories and things to add to the world of Tyalbrook. However I promise that book 2 will give many answers- I do NOT like to be strung along and wouldn't want to string my fans along either.
10. If they made a movie out of your life, and Hollywood asked for you to help cast yourself, who would you pick to play you?
Ha! Reese Witherspoon or Jennifer Gardner. They are both my age and moms of 3 kids like me. Reese has already played June Carter Cash so I am sure playing little ol' me would be a breeze. I was a huge Alias fan so I would love to see Jennifer kick butt as me. I guess I will need to add some adventure crime fighting into my life for that to happen though ;)
What is your favorite...
character from NLYF: Xander
music to write by: Spotify Indie station

Orphaned at 7, with no memory of her past or the family she lost, 17 year old Skye Martin is tired of being alone and afraid. After a hard night of partying, Skye wakes up alone in an unfamiliar hotel. All she can remember is the deep voice of her rescuer and his promise: “I am safe.”
Xander has been tasked with watching Skye from afar for the past two years, in order to keep her safe from the demons that hunt her. An easy job - until a pair of red glowing eyes reveal themselves to Skye, and Xander, in a moment of weakness, is forced to break his cover to protect her.
Never good at trusting people, Skye is inexplicably drawn to Xander and the immediate bond she feels for him. However, Xander is filled with secrets and ties to her past that threaten to thrust Skye into a world she could never imagine existed…
As she begins to unravel the truth about who Xander is and the details surrounding her family, she discovers that she might just be the key to saving everything...
And, most importantly, she finds that there has always been someone by her side who would never let her fall…
Never Let You fall is a YA paranormal romance that tells the story of characters Xander and Skye. Orphaned when she was young, Skye starts off lost and without direction. Loyal and strong, Xander is her sworn protector and guardian; he was also a total sweetie and was one of my favorite characters. I loved the concept of the romance in this book: a boy falls in love with someone he shouldn't, a girl who never had anyone who loved her, and thought that Michele portrayed the romance well. The dynamics between the two were sweet and steamy at times, and the tension was nicely heightened as the danger to Skye increased throughout the story. In the latter half of the book, the two journey to Tyalbrook, a world that I thought had a lot of excellent potential. I hope we get to learn more about it and explore the magic of this world in book two, and I am looking forward to revisiting Skye, Xander, and Tyalbrook in the sequel. Oh, and I must know what happens after the end of book one!
My rating: 4 stars
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Having grown up in both the cold, quiet town of Topsham, Maine and the steamy, southern hospitality of Mobile, Alabama, Michele is something of a enigma. She is an avid Yankees fan, loves New England, being outdoors and misses snow. However she thinks southern boys are hotter, Alabama football is the only REAL football out there and sweet tea is the best thing this side of heaven and her children’s laughter!
Her family, a doting husband and three awesome minions, have planted their roots in the middle of Michele’s two childhood homes in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Never Let You Fall is Michele’s first novel and she is beyond thrilled to have finally followed up on a dream she has held for over 20 years! God willing there will be many many more books to follow.

I published my debut novel MYTHOLOGY not quite a year ago. It all started with a sweet demon as my muse and inspiration, and Micah, a boy with a troubled past and dark future, was born out of my imagination. But more so, he is the one for me who represents the potential for all of us to be more than what we're born into. When Hope first met Micah, she described him as "totally dreamy," and while that was based on her first and lasting impression of him, the fact will always remain that he has been a dream to me, too - and he, Hope, and Jonathan helped me achieve my dream in the form of MYTHOLOGY.
Today, Micah and I are both honored to be featured on the first day of the YA Crush Tourney. We are humbled that readers thought enough of him to nominate him along with all of the other inspiring crushes. We are so thankful for all of you readers who give us love, and we are ever so grateful to our wonderful friend Laura for her advocacy of him and to our street team for the support that they give Micah every day. We are also thankful to have met so many other amazing writers and readers on our journey.
Following is the post by his YA tourney advocate, Laura, including a GIVEAWAY, a PREVIEW of the custom art that will be featured on the cover of my second book of the series, MYTHOLOGY: THE WICKED, and an EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT from book two... And of course, a chance to VOTE HERE.
Thank you for making #TeamMicah possible! Read on...
And now ... LAURA’S POST!
“It’s Micah, and he’s on a black classic Triumph. His golden hair is windblown and tangled. He looks glorious in the sunlight…And I know that his smile is meant for me.”Micah Condie is 6’2” of blonde hair, blue-eyed sexiness. A devoted brother, loyal friend and loving boyfriend, he has the biggest heart of any YA crush I’ve ever read. He isn’t afraid of his feelings, and he will do whatever it takes to protect the people he cares for. The only thing not perfect about him is that he isn’t real, and I can’t tackle hug him and swoon over him in person! But there is more to Micah than heart and looks. You see, Micah is a demon – as in literal, fire-and-brimstone, demon from hell. To survive, he must take souls, and if he doesn’t, he will die. It’s a horrible choice, and it would be so easy for Micah to just give up and be the monster everyone claims he is.
“You can’t reduce me down to that, like I’m some sort of wild animal that only acts on instinct. I made a decision to be with Hope. And she made the same decision to be with me.”Micah doesn’t believe in taking the easy way out. He refuses to accept that he is somehow “destined” to be a bad guy because he was unlucky enough to be born a demon. So instead, he fights. Every day he wages a war with the darkness, battling his own nature for the right to create his own destiny and be with the girl he loves.

Micah is the ultimate good bad boy. Yes, he has blackness inside of him, but he won’t yield to it, no matter what. And isn’t that what we all do? We all have our dark sides, and we all strive to be the best person we can be. Micah reminds me of that, and when he wins the fight, it’s like I’m winning too. That’s why I choose him as my YA Crush. Because he is the most real, the most human. Demon darkness and all.

“I’m fine,” she says, a small smile playing on her face.
"Convince me,” I say.
She slides her hands up my chest, around my neck. Her eyes don’t leave mine, the uncertainty of the moment gone for both of us.
We step toward each other at the same time, my arms drawing her even closer at the moment our lips meet. Her mouth opens, lips meld with mine in total perfection, and I take in her breath as my own. I run my hands down to the small of her back, and she knots her fingers in my hair and curves into me. The slight movement of her body pressing against me stirs up an entirely different sort of hunger.
Nothing matters except for her.
A small sound escapes from her throat, and my need ignites like flames against all of the darkness.
Way too soon, the bell rings, totally killing the moment. Doors burst open, and the hallway overflows with people and commotion.
“There you are! I’ve been looking everywhere for you,” a voice says.
I groan and press my forehead to Hope’s for just a second before breaking away from her.
“Hey, Sylvia,” she says brightly, linking her fingers with mine. She squeezes my hand before letting go and turns her face up to mine. “See you later.”
Her cheeks are flushed, her lips parted. I let out my breath slowly.
I drag a hand over my face as I watch her leave, the urge to chase her growing exponentially with each step she takes away from me. It’s not just some stupid possessive needy thing. I know she’s mine as much as she knows I’m hers.
But the second she disappears around the corner, the feeling resurfaces. The one that will always stick with me. The one when I thought she was leaving me for good, right after she saved my life last semester. That moment when I was full of regret that I let her down.

NA Contemporary Romance
Release Date: July 22, 2013
It takes just one week to realize that you’re broken, but not unfixable. ONE week to realize everything doesn’t come with a price. ONE week to fall in love with love. ONE week to fall in love with you.
Family torn apart at thirteen by a drunk driver.
Fifteen foster homes in five years.
Determined to keep everything at bay, Nevaeh Rodgers will do whatever it takes to forget.
Until she meets Angel Barajas at a party. He can’t keep his eyes off of her. Saving her from a guy at the party and an overdose, he can’t just let her walk out his door. Determined to help her whether she wants the help or not, he sets out to find her and not a moment too soon.
It takes ONE day to realize the relationship you’re in isn’t healthy and leave. TWO days to realize you’re as pathetic as the loser you stayed with. THREE days to get a combination of drugs out of your system. FOUR days to wish life would end so you can take matters into your own hands. FIVE days to be saved. It takes a week to realize that everything each and every one of those days has in common, is the vibrant blue eyes that are staring at me right now.
I’m staring at myself in the mirror of my bathroom. It’s 3 am, and I’m fighting with my reflection. Each part of me is demanding to be brought to the surface. The one looking at me is the girl I used to be. She’s begging to be let out, to be more than a reflection. Then there’s me, the one in the here and now. The damaged one looking to take over completely. Fighting. Always fighting. It’s like a never ending battle raging within myself and I can’t stop it. I don’t know how to stop it, I don’t know if I want to. It’s a constant reminder that this is the path I chose. The path so off course that I don’t know if I can ever return to the original one. I didn’t leave bread crumbs like Hansel and Gretel, although those didn’t work out well with them either.
I walk out of the bathroom and go to the bookcase to look for a book. I can see I’m not going to be going back to bed anytime soon, I might as well do something productive. Trying to do something to get my mind off of the war ragging within. Running my fingers over the bindings of the books, head tilted to the right reading the spines, when I come to this worn blue book. It looks completely out of place from the others. Were they look new, you can tell this one is old. It has no writing on the spine, so I pull it out to see what it is. Inscribed on the front in the most beautiful cursive I have ever seen is the word Divinity. Completely intrigued by what this book is about I head over to the lamp by the bean bag, turn it on, and collapse into the bean bag.
Page after page of information on destiny and the paths we are on. Different people’s takes on fate and whether they believe that we are all destined for a certain path. There was a story about how this girl didn’t believe she would ever get back to her given path, her destiny is what she called it. After years of working to right the wrong she’s done in the past, she finally believed she was on her predestined path and was finally happy. I close the book after her story to think about what I’ve read. If they’re right and we are destined for something, what the hell could I be destined for? How can this be the life laid out for me by the fates? The weavers of life. I guess they have a sick sense of humor. They pick people out to have issues to keep themselves entertained.
What if the book holds truth? Can I be like that girl? Maybe I was on the right path up until everything happened and I’ve been deviating ever since. Is there a way to get back to that? To free the girl trapped in the mirror? But if she’s free where would the present me go, into the mirror, or is there a way to merge the two? Maybe accepting all that I’ve done for what it was will be the key to becoming me again.

Release date: June 11, 2013
When having two powers makes you a Super and having none makes you a Normal, having only one makes you a sad half-superpowered freak.
It makes you a One.
Sixteen-year-old Merrin Grey would love to be able to fly – too bad all she can do is hover.
If she could just land an internship at the Biotech Hub, she might finally figure out how to fix herself. She busts her butt in AP Chem and salivates over the Hub’s research on the manifestation of superpowers, all in hopes of boosting her chances.
Then she meets Elias VanDyne, another One, and all her carefully crafted plans fly out the window. Literally. When the two of them touch, their Ones combine to make them fly, and when they’re not soaring over the Nebraska cornfields, they’re busy falling for each other.
Merrin's mad chemistry skills land her a spot on the Hub's internship short list, but as she gets closer to the life she always wanted, she discovers that the Hub’s purpose is more sinister than it has always seemed. Now it’s up to her to decide if it's more important to fly solo, or to save everything - and everyone - she loves
